🎵 Welcome to 12 Tones! 🎵

12 Tones is a distinctive men’s choir that began in 1995 as a male quartet and has since grown to around 15 members. We perform a cappella in four-part harmony, exploring a wide range of styles — from barbershop and gospel to Hebrew songs, Jewish liturgy, well known classics and beyond.

Our music blends excellence with a playful spirit, aiming for high-quality performance while never losing sight of humor and joy. Both rehearsals and concerts emphasize artistry and enjoyment. As we like to say:
“If you sing a cappella well, you can sing anything well!”

The choir appears regularly at festivals and choral conferences across the country and has participated in international barbershop competitions. In the first two years of the “Sulam Milah” competitions, we achieved first place twice.

We rehearse weekly in Tel Aviv and are always on the lookout for new voices to join our ensemble.

Here, men of all ages and backgrounds, from across the country, come together and connect through singing. You don’t need to read music — all it takes is a love for song, a good ear, some discipline, and above all, the desire to sing with others.

We work in harmony and in fun — with no shortage of laughter in our rehearsals. We practice and perform on many stages in Israel and abroad. With every rehearsal and every performance, we rediscover the thrill of shared singing: the connection, the emotion, and the energy — all flowing straight to the audience.

12 Tones is more than a choir — it is a warm community that welcomes anyone ready to sing from the heart.
